Haskell considers the health and well-being of our employees and dealers a top priority during this difficult time. Our commitment and service to our customers is also extremely important to us.
As mandated by “shelter in place” order by the Governor of Michigan and PA, our corporate employees along with our sales, marketing and customer service teams have all moved to a work from home schedule. We are working under the assumption that this schedule will continue through April 15th. During this time, in an effort to protect the health and well-being of our manufacturing team members, shipping and receiving will be suspended for the next 3 weeks as well.
Our leadership team has reviewed all project and shipment schedules and plan on being back on track with shipments two weeks after resuming these operations. We will of course update all of our stakeholders as this situation evolves.
In the interim, we have taken the following steps to ensure timely and critical response for all of our dealers and customers:
- Sales and Customer Service support – The Haskell sales and customer service teams are available and working normal hours to support all quotes, orders, scheduling and service requests.
- Manufacturing – Our facility in Grand Rapids has significant inventory on hand and we will continue to work with our supply chain partners to ensure that we have all the components needed to meet the summer demand.
- Quick Ship – We have a significant quantity of products ready for immediate shipment (when the shelter in place is lifted) to support “work at home” customer needs including task seating and sit to stand desk units.
We will continue to update you as this situation is very fluid. We will be transparent and communicate regularly as new information becomes available. We value all of our partners, dealers and customer relationships and hope that all your families are safe and healthy.

Our hearts go out to all that have been impacted by COVID-19.
As a company that manufacturers and supplies furniture to schools and educational institutions we feel it’s important that we share with our customers an update on how we are managing with the COVID-19 situation. This is a critical time of year for the design, purchase and delivery of furniture that supports learning environments. As such, Haskell Education is taking the necessary precautions to ensure our employees safety while taking care of our customers as we navigate COVID-19.
Our teams have the necessary digital resources to support and facilitate business remotely. We utilize a variety of digital tools that allow for video conferencing and virtual meetings. Our customer service and sales teams are available to assist with any questions, requests and order updates.
Haskell Education is in full operation mode at our Headquarters and at our manufacturing facility in Grand Rapids, MI. Our senior management team has been prepared to respond quickly to any new developments made available from the CDC and The World Health Organization. We are closely monitoring the situation and working with our suppliers to ensure that we maintain the level of service and support that our valued customers have come to expect.
At present, our lead times are not impacted, and we are currently holding a strong inventory of product for “immediate shipment”. This of course could change depending on government mandated closures and disruptions. We also understand that there may be a need to hold shipments and we are happy to do so.
